It may be a stupid question. I had surgery few days ago. 5 days post-op I took a shower. There was dried blood on the suture sites. It wouldn't fall off. Should I manually remove it or would that risk messing up with the sutures? If I leave them, I am concerned it may become part of the scar or something.

Had the same thing. It naturally peeled off after a couple of weeks. I believe it was actually a good thing as it was partially functioning as a protective layer..

Dont pull it off.. It will go by itself.. I had similar to my both nipples.. I never did something to them.. Just after few weeks they were almost ready to fall off, i touch it and it was just "click" of pulling it and it was gone..
Until then, leave it as it be.. It cant become a part of the scar..
