I've had this for a really long time, maybe the middle of elementary. I'm wondering what you guys think my case is. I'm going to be 18 at in late December. Is surgery my only option? When I check it, theres a hard feeling under my chest. And on that 1-10 scale, where would I be? Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, if anyone knows of any good surgeons and costs in the Vancouver, BC area, that would also be pretty helpful.

  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
Yes, surgery will probably be in your future if you wish to be rid of the gyne.  From the pictures it looks like you've got some serious gland going on.  That's what I believe is puffing your nips out like that.  If you choose surgery the surgeon will probably do gland excision and liposuction.

I'd give a 7-8 on a 10 scale. Surgery seems to be the only solution like almost every serious case. Your gyno looks glandular mostly but as said before you'll need excision and lipo. Good luck to you and keep in touch !

How hard has this been on you mentally? Have you talked to anyone else about having surgery?  You are so young that I would do it now. Don't live with it for a long time. Easy one or two hour surgery can change your life.

i'd call it a 3-4 in scale with other stuff i've seen, but i think anything 2 or over is worth getting rid of for quality of life and peace of mind, and since it's that size and you can feel density and have had it that long, nothing but surgery will fix it.

* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

jake, no offense, but serious question.

do you actually have gyne yourself, or are you one of the people like blatino who not only tell guys (some with even severe cases) that they look great, but come here because you think the pictures are a turn-on?
