1 week post op advice please.

Am i being paranoid or has the surgery been pointless i feel i,m back to the beginning when the bandages were removed it looked great 1st time in 16yrs i felt good in a t shirt but now it looks like its back is this just swelling?

Who did your surgery mate? I had mine with Lev a week ago and have only just taken the bandgaes off this morning. Am now with a compression vest for 6 weeks.

Nhs i'm booked to see my surgeon next week ill ask why there's been no mention of a compression vest.
I also had the drains in for 4 days.

I believe that it could well be scar tissue if your gland was excised and was not there when the bandages came off. I guess your surgeon will know more but be patient as swelling etc takes a while to settle and it is easy to lose hope initially.

i had bandages for about 16 hours post op and then i have been told to wear a comp vest 24hours a day for 30 days and then 12 hours a day for the other 30 days
