  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
OK, I'll admit it.  I have never before posted my pictures here.  Maybe I've been lazy or maybe it's been a mental block, but now's as good a time as ever.   As you'll see in the pictures, the surgeon did a LOT of work on me.  Major reduction in areola size, lots of lipo including my flanks and in the armpits, as well as gland excision.  I still have areas of swelling above and below the areola, but that swelling has been getting better little by little.  I don't expect perfection in the end, but I do have a goal of being more normal.  If in a couple of months I lose the swelling and the skin tightens up somewhat, then I will be pretty happy.  My 6 week appointment with the P.S. is today, so wish me luck.  Here are the photos:

Before:

(picture taken in the P.S. office)

If you'll notice, the areolas were slightly stimulated because of the cold room.  They were actually larger than what you see and completely smooth when warm!
That's why I call myself Mr. Nip.

After:

(pictures taken in my basement by my lovely wife)

For some reason I look a lot fatter in this picture than I really am.  Don't flame me on that too badly, OK?

Absolutely amazing transformation.  Are your areolas in the post-op pics relaxed and always like that now?

Thanks.  The two had about the same amount of pain, which was minimal unless I reached my arms up or outward.  Not bad, overall.

Yes  ;D

The areolas are always like you see in the picture.  I still have to just stare at them in the mirror sometimes...  Not from vanity - They're just so different.

Thanks Hypo-is-here for the kind words.  :)

Thanks also to all of you who've supported me through this.  Less than a year ago I would have never dreamed I would ever be rid of that condition.  I didn't even know what it was.  You guys through these boards gave me a gift of immeasurable value.  In the same way I hope I can help you do the same for others.  Thanks! ;D

who was your PS ?

Steven A. Siciliano in Hickory, NC.
Everybody in that office is very friendly and helpful, too.   When I go back for a follow-up appointment it kind of feels like I'm visiting friends.   The total cost of what I had done was $3,875.  Here's their web site if you're interested:  http://hickoryplasticsurgery.com/index.php

Looks like the surgery was a success.
Congratulations to you.
I have the same type of gyno as far as
chest appearance and breast size.
I still have hope that someday i will be
free from this hell.
