Surgery with Dr. Bermant on next week!

I will be getting surgery next week with Dr. Bermant for puffy nipples. I have had this since I was 13 and now at 31 I finally decided to take the next step. I will keep you all posted on the results.

Just had surgery this morning with Dr. Bermant. Everything went smooth including the anesthesia. I was kind of nervous like most people of being put under and did not know how I would react to it. But I was kept in good spirits by the staff and before I knew it I was out and woke up in what seemed like record time. I was a little woozy but it went away within an hour. I will keep you all posted on the results.

GNX, I am not sure what you mean by preparations. He does have a list of the closest hotels to his office where u can have the operation done. You will probably be better off staying in Chester instead of Richmond so you wont have a long drive to his office. I stayed at the Hampton Inn and it cost about $80.00 with the AARP discount of my parents. But there are like 4 other hotels surrounding it so you have a lot of options in regards to that. I will send you a pm in regards to the total price. I will post some before pics that I have stored in my office computer that I took myself because the ones that he took dont represent the total picture. The room where he took them was a little cold for me since I am used to 100 degree weather in the summer and not so cold during the winter. When I take my dressings off I will take some preliminary after pictures which will probable not to show the true result as he told me the scarring will take a few months to completely heal. I am 2 weeks post-up and I could not be happier with the results at this early stage. At first I was not expecting to be 100% satisfied because of the many posts that severe gyno people were satisfied more with their results than the puffy areola crowd. But I can safely say that 2 weeks post-op I am extremely satisfied with the results I have now. I will still give the opertion a full year to see the final results but if I stay like this I will be more that satisfied. Now I know what it feels when some satisfied patients say that they dont want to sound like an advertisement for their Dr. but I can definitely say the Dr. Bermant is a MASTER at this. It still has not really sunk in that I am finally gyno free after 18 years. I will recommend that if you are thinking about having this operation, go to a PROVEN doctor like Bermant or Delgado who basically specialize on it. If you know of a Dr. who has perfomed this op on someone you know and liked the results, then go for it, you will not regret it. Anyways I will post some before and after pics for those interested. Awesome pics, looks like he did a great job.  Was that excision + lipo I'm assuming?  I would imagine Bermant is the biggest proponent of excision.

Calg, it was excision plus lipo and yes, I seriously doubt Dr. Bermant would only due lipo on any of his patients.
