I had my consultation today with the surgeon from the NHS.  His responses seemed pretty standard for most things concerning the actual operation etc.

However, when I asked him how many of this type of op he had performed before he said "20-30" in total.  Do you think this is enough?  Personally I don't.  What are your thoughts?  How many ops of a certain type should a good surgeon have done before?  And how many a year?

Thank you

Personally, I'd would like to see those numbers in the 100's.

As the saying goes.... 'Practice makes Perfect'.

Is there anyway that you can get some before/after pics from this doc?  That would be a better indicator than just experience.  Yeah experience is great, but some pics could give you a good idea.
