As you may have seen me post before, I'm going to the Navy soon, so the timing of my surgery is going to be tough.

I think we get one month paid vacation each year.  Will this be enough to book a surgery and recover from it?  I'm also going to be a pilot, so will a month's healing time be enough for me to get back into a cockpit?

Thanks.

You get 30 days of leave a year. You gotta work through your chain of command for the leave to be approved. Its not gonna be to easy to be approved for 30 days of leave at once, especially being new. I dont know to much...or anything about the Navy's OCS but Id assume after candidate school you will be at The Basic School for awhile. So pretty much once you you go to OCS I think its gonna be awhile.

PM me your AIM S/N and ill hit you up and help you figure it out. I'm a Marine so I feel for you.

Id imagine youd be fine to fly again at 2 weeks even if yours was worse than mine.

You can take leave because of medical reasons.....
