just wondering... thanx!!!
Caution Graphic Link in next paragraph!

A Subcutaneous Mastectomy is a fancy medical phrase for removing breast tissue under the skin.  The term can include gland and fat but the Subcutaneous part means that the skin is left behind.  A Subcutaneous Mastectomy is a type of excision.  Excision just means tissue is cut out or excised and the phrase by itself does not tell what is being removed.  The term Subcutaneous Mastectomy can be used to describe many different degrees of under the skin breast removal.

Hope this helps,
