I've had gynecomastia since I was 14, and i've always assumed it was due to puberty.
I am just turning 16, have talked to my parents and researched it, tried working out, etc. I do have puffy nipples, but I am lean and not overweight. What are the chances of it naturally going away at this point? And if it is in fact pubertal, after 2 years of going through this, how soon might it go away?

Thanks

Well, you're lucky that you only had to endure gyne for 2 years...  Imagine if you will, suffering with it for 31 years (or more)...   :o

You are still in puberty and therefore there is still hope it will disappear on it's own. At this point that is all you can do it wait it out a few more years cause many PS will not operate on you cause of how young you are.

Thanks. Is there any way to discern if you have a pubertal imbalance, or out of whack hormones? Like some sort of test?

yes, that's what the endo will do. He'll draw blood samples and test all your hormones and see where the problems may lie
