Hi Guys,
I am planning to get married in 3 to 4 months after surgery (which is going to happen soon... ) Would there any swelling or noticeable scars 3 months after surgery? swelling - some doctors say it will be there up to 6 months after surgery.. this really scares me.. especially after marriage, this could be a problem right? i hope u get my point..:)... if somebody presses your chest area in 3 or 4 months after surgery, wouldn't you feell any pain ? i never wanted to tell my wife that i had this problem and got it removed thru surgery..
pls advise me if i should postpone my marriage plans further,
Thanks,
Tony.

It's been one month since I had surgery.
If I press my right nipple, don't feel anything at all. The left nipple only a little discomfort.

I'm pretty sure 3 months after surgery you will not have any trouble in your honeymoon.

Just get the surgery, everything is going to be OK

i'm in the same boat as well with marriage probably sometime end of nov. but got the surgery anyway last week. From the various posts here it seems that 2 months is enough even for those who had a hard time with recovery. I would go ahead with the surgery but do it asap to have some time buffer

best of luck!

Im 6 days post op and i can feel my areola already little by little, the first 2-3days i had no sensation and it was like it was numb to the touch. But on the 4th day onwards, i could feel it.

I,m now 1 week post op. For the first 3 days it seemed like it owuld take a long time but the improvements have been increasing fast the last couple of days....some numbness has started to go and the bruises are half gone. It appears to me now that I may be completely ok (in terms of sensation and bruising) in around 1 or 2 months. So from a sensation and bruising point of view it looks possible.
