i have my surgery in a couple weeks.  do i need to shave my chest???  :P

You could, but unless you have a rug, it isn't a necessity....  ;)

it all depends on you  but i think there is 2 things to think about  :

the removing of tapes and pads that are going to be glued to your body (and hair OUCH) might make you want to shave !!!!

but if you do and its the first time, i guess it might be itchy, ... also keep in mind that you will most probably be itchy, very itchy for about 1-2 weeks after surgery... for me it was the worst

ok i'm not really helping your decision but hey...think about it ;-)

I say don't bother. The nurses will take care of it if it needs to be done. 

Now that I think about it some more, he is only making an excision around your nipple. Thats not really an area where you could have much hair.  Also the lipo incision is very very small so no need to shave that area either.

true the shaving is not necessary for the surgery. its just matter of comfort knowing that you will have bandages (and pads if you go to Fielding) glued to your chest and he removal can be painful, either you shave before or you get an unwanted wax while removing the bandages  ;)
