Consultation in Brighton

Hi,

I have a consultation this week in Brighton which I booked through the Harley Medical Group.

Has anyone else been to a similar consultation in Brighton? Who was the surgeon, and what was the cost? Any info greatly appreciated.

Well, I know they have a reputation for being expensive.

Also, if it is the harley medical group then you have to watch out, because many consults are with 'nurse counsellors' and NOT  surgeons......... great if you want a bog standard boob job perhaps?

Not so great if you have male gynecomastia and you want to see how much experience YOUR particular surgeon has and what type of operation they do.... IE: excision & lipo, lipo only? excisions only?

Don't take any guff from a nurse or a sales person, demand to see a surgeon.. 

If not there are tons of other choices.

hello..

i had a consultation with harley med group and they only offer chest fat removal so i doubt they'l do any gland removal.. but they turned me down saying i didnt have gyne because i had no fat on my chest.. i clearley have gyne and i have a glandular problem.. the nures from harley just check for fat they nothing about gland excision and removal

i am now going to benito.. id recommend going private bud save yourself a lot of hassle

I actually went with Harley, before going with Dr. Benito. Harley consultations are usually with a nurse first time round, and they are expensive (£4-5k). King Boob is right, they aren't really experts with gyne. Should try Benito or one of the UK based surgeons listen on this board. Much better rep and either the same price or cheaper.

I've got the consult tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes.

Imust admit that it would be nice to chat with the surgeon rather than just a nurse, since the surgeon is going to be doing the main job.
