I know that you can finance it with care credit ---or your doctor might be able to recommend one to you

Yes, it is possible to finance surgery for gynecomastia.  A straight forward loan from a bank is nearly impossible -- particularly is these tough financial times.  You can simply pay for it on one or more credit cards, although frequently credit card rates are high.  Some people play games by getting new credit cards (at low introductory interest rates) and transferring balances from one credit card to another.

If you are young and do not have a substantial credit history, you might be able to ask another adult/parent to co-sign with you so that they will take co-financial responsibility if you should not be able to keep up with the payments.

My office works with Care Credit and Capital One -- both of which will finance cosmetic procedures at better interest rates than the standard credit card companies.

You should also inquire of your surgeon if they can offer similar plans.
