Alcohol 10 days post surgery

Just wanted to know if it was okay to drink now that it's been 10 days since my surgery. I don't mean I plan to drink everyday, but I like my nights out during the weekend. Will having a few drinks occasionally interfere with the healing in any way?
By the way I also used to smoke about 15 cigs a day. I smoked my last cigarette 2 weeks before surgery. Been going strong till now...

A few drinks won't hurt you, just take it in moderation.

Also just watch yourself when you are out, because you are still healing, don't do anything silly as you might undo some of the work done.
