Hi guys!
I'm 18 years old and had my gynecomastia surgery 3 days ago by an experienced plastic surgeon in my country who has done many of these operations before. It was a very mild case where only gland tissue was removed (I am very slim and athletic build, so lipo wasn't necessary).

What worries me is if I will get a crater since all tissue was removed. Is it always that way? Can't the areola be supported by the fat and muscle underneath? The tissue that was removed was pretty much the sice and shape of a finger. Right now I my nipples are covered so I cannot see if there is any crater defect but it looks like the swelling is very minimal.

Thankful for answers

I called the surgeon and it turned out that he did leave some gland for nipple support  :)
I'm so excited about my results 8)

Congrats!!!! Talking all the gland out would be a very amateurish mistake. You can be confident that he did the best job possible.
Now you just have to wait until everything heals up.
