Lipo'd Flanks/hips how important is a compression/garment for that area?

Hi guys,

My plastic surgeon says it's not really required for the lower torso after liposuction of the flanks because he will bandage me up very tight after.

Should I insist on a vest/compression vest for the area lipo'd or not?

i had flank lipoed..and wore the vest for 4 weeks.
i think its important
or else ur skin wont contract..
why not wear it..just as an added safety..its 4 week only..i wud highly recommend it
