laser lipo

has anyone heard of this or even tried it out. I called this doctor who advertises it on the radio.  He said he's treated men with gynecomastia and that it worked for them.  I highly doubt it. What do you think? Oh and it takes 9 visits for the entire process. Coming in at just under $1500 for everything but if I wait til next month the price will be double. sounds like a scam to me.

Laser Lipo is nothing new or unusual. It sounds nice and technical though and makes a good blurb on the Radio or TV.

I would question anyone who said they could deal with Gynecomastia using lipo alone, especially without even examining the patient.

When visiting a site like this one which focuses on a particular condition; I would expect to find Doctors who are specialists. I do not think that legitimate specialists often use Radio or TV to advertise their services.

Naturally he is going to tell you he has had success. If he has to advertise on the Radio he is obviously needing the work and would say nearly anything to get you.

That "Do it now or the price will double" line sounds like a scam to me also.

Why pay someone to do a procedure nine times when you can have someone do it in one shot? Imagine seeing a doctor for your second scheduled "laser lipo" appointment and the guy left town!

Laser lipo has been touted for the past several years as the panacea for loose skin, which is not the main problem for most guys with gyne.  (And, in fact, it is truly debatable whether indeed it does tighten skin).  What is true is that it melts fat -- but not gland at all.  Therefore, treatment (for most guys) would require lipo plus excision -- which is not what your advertising guys has advocated.

Personally, I would not have the patience to wait for nine treatments to see any improvement.
