Underarmour help needed post surgery

So I'm trying to figure out what size underarmour shirt I need to buy for after my surgery. I'm 6'3 or 6'4 and weigh about 200 to 210. I usually wear a large regular shirt, which isn't tight but it's not baggy either. I was told by my dr to buy a size or two down. I'm a bit concerned i couldnt squeeze into a medium. Anyone out there have experience with this that can advise?

I am 6'2 with long torso. The shirt I like best is the Underworks Cotton Concealer Compression it fits all the way down to my rear. Others ride up on my stomach. Buy a size larger. I wear XL and bought 2 XL.
