Scared please help!(After my surgery)

Hello yesterday I removed part of my dressing on my left side to see my nipple, 5 days after surgery I touched it once and felt sensation which I am happy about.  After this I then put the dressing back over.  I didn't look at the right side.  But I am now worried I have just opened my self up to infection on my left side?  I am scared now that a silly thing may have just cause me to get infection I know looking back it was silly to do this but I just couldn't resist.  I am scheduled to see the plastic surgery nurse to remove the dressing fully next week.  Please help

The wound is probably well sealed by now.

What a relief.  Can't wait to get these dressing off for good it's slightly irritating.
