Is it difficult to be approved for financing for this surgery? And do surgeons ever have an in-house credit option? My credit is not very good from years ago and I'm just waiting now for things to start dropping off it. I have a job and am about to graduate college. Depending on what the actual cost would be I have probably half to put down of my own money.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. This is all that's stopping me now from getting the surgery done.

I do not know anyone who does offer "in-office "financing. What many surgeons including our office offer is financing via a third party such as care credit or a similar vendor.

Agree with Dr. Pensler.  Surgeons usually do not provide their own financing for patients.  Most surgeons, including myself, can recommend some financing companies who will consider loans directly to the patient.  These loans are for cosmetic surgery, which a bank would be loathe to finance.  And the interest rates are usually lower than those of major credit cards.

You can look up Care Credit, a very popular financing company, on the internet.  In fact, you can apply for a loan online with them, in total privacy.
