Hello,

I'm currently 6 weeks post-op and recovering nicely. I've gradually been returning to the gym and want to know if I can eventually use Creatine again? I'm concerned that it may impede my recovery and/or case my nipples to puff out again.

I will ask my surgeon once I see him again but I would like to know what others here think.

Creatine usage has not been a problem in my patients after surgery. You will retain a bit more fluid and are susceptible to muscle cramping if you use it.

Agree with Dr. Pensler.  Creatine won't impact your gynecomastia or your surgical results.  You should be cautious with other pre-workout supplements, as some are not accurately labeled and may have ingredients that could be hormonally active.
