The endo i went to last week said I may have hypogonadism. What exactly is it?? Hypo you seem to have a good understanding of these things could you help me out as well? Thank you...

Hypogonadism is testosterone deficiency or more accurately-

It is important that your endocrinologist diagnoses the cause of hypogonadism if you have it as this can affect your treatment options- this is very important to those interested in fertility.  

There are two main forms of the condition;

hypogonadotropic hypogonadism

Is testosterone deficiency due to hypothalamic or pituitary problems, whereas

hypergonadotropic hypogonadism

Is testosterone deficiency due to testicular issues.
