Ok, I'm planning on doing something about my Gyne, however as I've read these boards over the weeks I'm a bit unsure what sould be my first step.

At first I was going to talk to my doctor, but I've read that I should go to see a Plastic Surgeon and "skip" a doctor's appointment.   Then I read I should start out by going to a endocrinologist to get my hormones checked.  So as you can see I'm not too sure what I should do first.

Any information would be helpful!

  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
General practicioners generally don't recognize or know how to deal with gynecomastia.  That's why it makes sense for many of us to go straight to the doctors who regularly deal with the condition.  Those being endocrynologists (to check hormones and treat imbalances) and plastic surgeons (to remove the condition).   It would probably be smart to see the endo first and get any hormone imbalances corrected before going to the PS.  Surgery is generally the only successful option for removing the gyne.
