Hi Guys,

This is my first post, but have been reading other peoples for a few weeks now.  Found out about gyne a couple of months ago, i was convinced I had it so went to my GP.  He agreed there was some breast activity and referred me to a specialist called Dr INWANG. The appointment took about 5 or 6 weeks to arrive and he booked me in for surgery 7 weeks after that.  So having heard that the procedure on the NHS is uncommon i'm pretty chuffed, I would have gone private but it would have left me owing my parents shed loads of money.  If anyone is thinking of going through the NHS i can only say that so far I am very impressed with their efficiency.  Mr Inwang gave me a confident impression that he knew what he we was doing and he has done the procedure before.  Now I just have to wait for the results, and fingers crossed I can fully enjoy my first summer in 10 years.

I to have been pleased with the NHS so far, and having had the stiches out yesterday its appears they where fairly strict with the knife.

The Doctor advised me that I may be one of the last to have the op on the NHS since the rules had changed, and this was only a couple of months ago.  I don't know how true this statement to be as I thought if you could prove distress rather than just the cosmetic effects then the NHS would help out.  I hope it to be untrue, as they have done a great job with me.
