NHS Surgery referal, please help!

Hi guys, I have stretched skin and gyno from massive weight loss; http://www.gynecomastia.org/smf/index.php/topic,8603.0.html

Anyway, my GP has refered me to a hospital, but I have been refered to 'genera surgeory' Is this correct or do I need a plastic surgeon?

Any advice on who I can go see maybe privately for seperate advice?

hey well done on the weight loss. Its a long journey though, aint it.

I really can't advise on the general surgery versus ps thing.

But maybe if you could say the region of the country that you were in people might nominate a local private ps.

Hi, yes, I am in the Coventry area. I don't mind traveling in the general west midlands area.

You need to have a consultation to assess your opinion of the surgeons capabilties. I would strongly recommend posting on the main board and asking for help in pertinent questions to ask.
