Alright, so I guess I'm on the right track. I developed gynecomasta probably around 6th or 7th grade. Maybe earlier. It has been haunting me ever since. I have always been an overweight guy, but recently I went crazy and lost like 60 lbs bringing me down to 170lbs at 5'10. Yep, you guessed it - no change in the gynecomastia. So I decided to see my doctor this morning and he immediately diagnosed it. He said that its obvious that its a big source of anxiety for me and that perhaps we can get it covered by health insurance for psychological health reasons. Anyways, I talked to my parents about it and theyre being very supportive. I blew off my high school days with this god damned disorder, I'm going to be a college freshmen next year and I want it taken care of before then. I have set up an appointment with a surgeon. Hopefully things start going my way

Good to hear that you are heading in the right direction jlg 121 and congratulation ;) on your new slim  health body. If you do decide to get the surgery done make sure you do some homework on your ps (plastic surgeon) first, and that my friend is very very important. In addition, search the boards and you will get very educated really quickly on which doctors have been doing it the longest and how much surgeries they do a year( a good average 40 +... IMO).  Good luck  jlg 121
