Dear All,

I had my gyno surgery two months ago and the recovery goes well on my right but I still have some abnormality on the left side. I'm just wondering if it's normal and will perfectly heal or something went wrong.

Thanks,
Janos

Overall it looks like a good result but without seeing pre-op photos it is really hard to judge. There is often some asymmetry before surgery that patients never appreciated. This generally persists and can result in some asymmetry after surgery as well. Regardless, there is always the possibility of further refinement to make things better if needed.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Attaching a pre-surgery pic, it might help to evaluate my state further. thanks, Janos

You had significant asymmetry of your chest prior to surgery -- the left side was much larger.

Your post op photo show some improvement but still some asymmetry.  Without a hands-on exam, it is difficult to provide feedback for you.  However, you must understand that it is extremely difficult to achieve perfect mirror-image symmetry for your chest.  Your breasts are brothers -- not identical twins.

All that said, you might be best served to return to your surgeon to discuss the situation.  Or, consider seeking a second opinion from a gyne specialist.

Good luck!
