Glad to hear you are negative and planning the surgery for late May. I hope when you get your new body that you continue to remain HIV negative. You will be a totally new person, so you will have a fresh start with a clean slate, so to speak. And it truly sounds like that is something you want desperately, from your previous posts, so I am hoping you will be successful in that endeavor. :)

Here are my 1 Day Post Op Pictures!

Outchamagoucha! The binder is uncomfortable and it feels very heavy.

I am satisfied with the results so far, of course the lipo results is not final until after 6 months.

My Doc said he removed a total of 600cc of fat and breast tissue from both sides of my chest. I asked him if it was mostly fibro-fatty tissues or gland that he encountered and he said its a mixture of both. I believe I have more of a case of fibro-fatty tissues than gland thats why the lipo worked.

The surgery itself was quick and comfortable. I told my surgeon that the place of incision and eventual scar is of secondary importance and the priority is to make my chest and nipples flat. I was put on IV and before I know it I was asleep. I woke up in the middle of surgery and I can feel the lipo canulla strokes on my chest, I was sedated so I feel comforable and I was put to sleep again.  The next thing I remember was waking up saying I have 'pockets of pain' around my chest but later it felt more like soreness and I was whisked into a wheelchair then my father accompanied me to the car.

The first two days was uncomfortable, there was blood and liquid dripping off my sides and the absorbent pads are filled. My surgeon had left the lipo incisions open so that liquid can drain into absorbent pads underneath the binder. My chest felt very heavy because of the binder and liquid filled absorbent pads. The binder also make my body felt very itchy because it is hot here in the Philippines. You have to be in an air-conditioned room to avoid skin irritation from the binder or compression vest. On the third day post-op which is today I felt more comformatable and I no longer have to wear absorbent pads because the incision has stopped draining and I was able to walk around and work.

The surgery cost $1000 and I felt I got value for my money for this operation. The cost of surgery plays an important factor in my decision to have surgery and since I felt I have more fibro-fatty tissues rather than gland I decided to have liposuction only. My chest is completely flat and so far I am satisfied with my results. My expectations were realistic and everything didn't have to be perfect but what I got in the end is more than what I have expected.

If you think you might have more of a case of fibro-fatty tissues rather than glands and you are tight in cash you might try liposuction only. If you live in or near the Philippines you may try visiting Dr. Lasa. His website is at //www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.com

Well here are some new pictures 7 days post op. http://www.geocities.com/likevin.geo/postop/

I have gained some weight due to a week of no excercise.  The ps said I cannot even do cardio until after three weeks post op.:( So I just sit around at home and pig out.

There are definitely some glands left on my right chest which my ps didn't take out. My left chest is flatter than my right chest but I guess I have more to thank for rather than complain about especially considering the procedure done which was lipo only and the cost of surgery.

I guess I will be able to hide the glands left on my right chest with building up my upper pectoral muscles.

So far when I put on a shirt everything is flat and I am very happy. ;D Over all I am very satisfied with the results. ;D

I don't really think it would be a clean slate, I still have some leftover baggage which is my sex addiction. Man its hard to kick. Since I had my addiction, I cannot focus as well as before. I have to put in extra effort to concentrate and I cannot think on the fly, everything has to be well thought of beforehand.

Hmmm...maybe start reading gay romances (NOT erotica/porn) and forget about sexual relations with guys--tell yourself that you are only interested in sappy, old fashioned romance and "true love." Only seek a real relationship with a real romance, not quick sexual relatinoships, and if you do find someone who you think it could work out with...wait *at least* a month before you deliver the goods (that includes any sex act). Of course this is probably easier said than done. Perhaps you could write a novel/short story in which you depict your ideal romance...maybe that may help you to change the focus from the sexual side of things to...the more romantic aspect.

I had a former gay roommate who had a real sex addiction problem (he also owned hundreds of gay porno videos, which cost him a substantial amount of money). He just went cold turkey and was celibate for six months plus...he felt a lot better and was very proud of his celibacy.

More useless advice...ha.

Update. 2 Weeks Post Op Pics

My right chest is a bit larger than the left. I think its too early to decide if I'll be needing revision surgery. I'll have to slim down first and try bodybuilding to see if I can balance my chest.

ANY BLUNT FRANK THOUGHTS OR COMMENTS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Since I had my gyne removed I feel less vulnerable. For example I woudln't feel like people are talking about me when I heard the word gay etc. I wouldnt mind people call me gay now. It was a big deal when I had gyne but now I just laugh about it.
