  • 31 Year Gynecomastia Victim...
Congrats!  ;D  ;D ;D

Make sure that the front desk clerk gives you the St. Joseph Health Center room rate! It saves you a few bucks over the 'walk-in' rate... However, you are already checked-in, they may not give you the reduced rate now.

I hope your surgery goes well for you...

John.

 8) Back from St-Joseph  8)

GUYS, if you are thinking of getting this done, DO-IT.

There is nothing to it. I was nervous in the waiting room, but there was NO REASON for me to be. You walk into that operation room, JCF marks your shit with a marker (while his aides are doing something else, not watching, so you don't feel akward). They get you to say good night (piece of cake, and, what a cool feeling), then you wake up sometime later with a nurse giving you ice and water.

Man I should have done this years ago.

There is a slight tightning feeling in you chest the next couple of hours, but some Tylenol 3 took care of that. and I feel much better 24 hours later !

cant wait to see results when the pads are off...

;D Guys, just go for it.

Yea it's a piece of cake. I had to stay over night. congats on getting it done. Mine was quite bad the doc said . But it sure does change your life. Becareful over taking your shirt off for away in the sun it messes up the scar and turns it white. I still want to do it every day but I try and hold off. It will be sore for a couple weeks and try and take it easy on the t3's I beleive stuff like that can cause gyne so take it easy on that. For me the hardest part of the op was taking off the foam pads and with the hair on my chest it was horrible but worth the results Congrats bro

Yeah - I read stuff on the scaring and the sun. I will try to get some mega-powerfull sun block cream and use that for a year or so (just on the areolas).

As for the foam pads, I shave my chest all the time so there should not be alot of hair under there...  It tingles a bit and I CANT WAIT to look at what it looks like underneath !

Were you really happy when you looked under yours, or were you kind of hoping it would evolve and get better?

yes i was really happy don't take the pads until the doc tells you too no matter how much you want to luck.
It will be well worth it trust me. No matter how happy i was when i took them off, every day that goes by it gets better and better. When i first thought that they was something wrong I hit the gym that was when i was twelve well I am 26 now and those years of working out trying to det a nice chest have paid off. But remember no matter how it looks when you take them off just give it some time it's only been 1 month for me and it's great. I think some how since this happened i changed in a way for the better. I am sure you will too.
Good luck.

We seem to have lots in common, I am also 26, and I had this since I was 12, I also work out alot, we both had the operation and [I am assuming] you are also french :)

So are you the fellow from QC which has also went to DR. Fielding? I remember that Leslie was telling me that they also have another patient from Quebec which was going throught the same hell with the RAMQ (equivalent of OHIP). Of course that is all she would have said about you, nothing even remotely confidential or anything like that...

Are you this guy ?

I guess 26 is the age when you start to have enough financial flexibility and you realize that you don't have to take this shit anymore !
