Upon on examination from you can I request that my blood sample be forwarded to an endo of your choice for
testing ? The reason why I ask is that you do so many of these I figure you have a good knowledge of specialists.

I typically do not order blood testing for my patients who need endocrinology evaluations.  What tests need to be ordered depend on many factors and are better decided by the endocrinologist who is performing the evaluation. 

Take a look at some of the medical problems that can cause gynecomastia.

I have seen many variations on what has been ordered and most endocrinologists start with a clinical examination, then an initial series of tests, that then may lead to additional evaluations.  I offer to discuss my patients' problems with their endocrinologists as part of our consultations or preliminary remote discussions.
