Had my surgery on Friday and am really disappointed at the moment. I will post pictures soon .... but you can get a rough guess how it looks if you look at the pre op photos... add a big scar at the bottom and that is pretty much how it looks now. Not much change at all... still puffy nipples and the scar doesn't look good. It seems there is a sort of fold in the nipple on my right side. The surgeon said they would take minimal amounts of gland out so that the scar does not have to be so big :s.

Also, could it improve as i am only 3 days post op... but there seems to be very little bruising so i assume this is sort of how they will look as a finished article. When i woke up after the op i had no bandage on at all so is there a possibility that when i woke up they had already started swelling hence the reason i have not seen much change after the op (if that makes sense  Cheesy)

The surgeon said most of my chest was fat and that i didn't have breast tissue but they could cut out the gland which was making the nipples look puffy.

i'd give it a good month to wait for any swelling you might not be aware of to go down before coming to any conclusions.

there is no need for anyone having gland excision to have a massive scar, it's jsut lazy, shitty work

ur sposed to go through the nipple like I had mine done, I have no scars and a massive amount of gland removed.

thankful the NHS turned me down

From your pictures, it looks like a little gland, and more fat as you mentioned.  Your case is quite mild, and you look young so maybe your level of bruising is dictated by those. 

Do you have a compression top, if not this could help your recovery.  Try http://www.cosmeticsurgeryholidays.com/compression_garments.asp#skip (640)  or equivalent.  Make sure it's tight though! 

At week one i thought i had no swelling, at week two i saw that i was mistaken, at nearly week three another improvement and change to chest & nipples.

As for the scar, as mentioned you shouldn't have a noticeable one, that's just poor technique/equipment and fairly unfortunate. I believe once i'm healed mine will be less than the 'o' on my keyboard.

LOLLL, do you know what mate ... im actually so thankful NHS turned me down as well!! Because I had such a major case right, imagine I went to the wrong surgeon the devastating effects that could of had on me!

hi lads,

lol im a bit of an idiot goin through with it tbh becoz wen i got to the hospital... n spoke to 1 of the surgeons, i said "will there be a scar around the outside of my nipple"... she said no ill cut around about 1" below the nipple, then she says well its up 2 u.. i can just cut around the nipple if you would prefer that LOL  . Anyways thanks for the replys lads n here is a couple pics of my results ( right nipple isnt as puffy as it was pre-op howether my left nipple still is)

let me know what you guys think....n i no from the pics u can see bruising but that wernt there before hand and the apperance hast changed from when they wernt bruised......if ya get what i mean

Scar tissue!

Let time pass and it'll all heal eventually! ... the human bodys wonderful. My first day after removing dressing I was going to cry thinking what the hell ive done to myself because I looked such a mess.

But now, im thinking its the best thing ive ever done in my life!

Minimum two weeks, possibly a month.  Then it may fluctuate depending on what you do.

to be honest, it didnt go to well as my right nipple is almost flat but my left nipple is still the same as it was before the op. When i got to the hospital the doctor told me all of it on my chest was not breast tissue, but it was fat and that i only had a little bit behind my nipple.
so i am probly gonna have another op with karidis in london and get it all sorted once and for all
