Hi guys, I'm 22 now..and noticed that my chest  looked different from other males round the age of 19..i did a bit of cardio for 2 years but i did indulge in a lot of drinking/takeaways etc..however in the last year I have been lifting weights and eating clean..anyway from these pics I'd like to know whether you think i have gyno or is it just chest fat..I have no hard tissue under the nipple ; like in many others cases when they are erect [when its cold or when comin outta the shower] they look alright but in the night and when warm they puff out and the area around the nips feels fatty..any advice wud b appreciated !

Well, it looks like mostly glandular tissue. But, yet again, it's hard to tell. But I doubt u can reduce it alot urself.

Both gland and fat. Not that bad but gyne's there though.

Sports could help reduce it but not make it disappear I think. Give it a try ...

Just keep on training them. About the diet, it's a scam.

if you cant feel any hard tissue i doubt this is gyno. if you work harder on your diet and lose the fat on your stomach im sure the chest will improve allot.

Freestyler,  unless there is an obvious hard lump of gland under the nipples, not even the surgeons know exactly how much is fat and how much is gland untill they get in there with surgery. Doctors on this site have stated that there is almost always a glandular component in the fatty tissue. Rarely pure fat.

If you elect to do surgery, I have a question for you. Can you stash away $25 per week for the next 27 months?

psuedo gyno is fat which most people will get if they don't do much excercise and gain weight. if you still have a flabby stomach then i think there is high chance it will go away and it will cost you nothing to test this method first before going in for surgery which may be unnecessary and expensive

Not necessarily true. I got down to around 12% bodyfat this summer and had abs starting to really show and I still had puffy nipples and a soft chest.

Cheers for the replies guys, my stomach used to be quite flabby..i'm wat ppl call 'skinny fat' [thats the conclusion ive come to after reading stuff on the internet]..however ive lost quite a lot of fat near the ab region so that under certain light i can see a faint 4-pack when i flex..but my lower stomach is till quite flabby so i guess i have to keep plugging away in the gym and try loose fat..i agree that there is always some glandular element and not just pure fat, coz if it was just fat im sure i wudnt have the 'erect nipples when cold and puffy during the night [or warm]' effect..there must b some gland tho i really wish it was just fat..

In the past I never felt any tissue and it just felt like pure fat, however after a lot of 'feeling' of my nipples im starting to think there is a small 'layer' of soming fatty between my nipple and pectoral..however i wudnt describe it as a hard lump or anything..so im not sure

Regarding surgery, I can save £ 25 for 2.5 yrs but i really want to avoid surgery especially since my case isnt extreme as others i have seen..plus im not sure if its just psuedo gyno..

Just want to add that as shown in the pic above, my chest is quite firm apart from the area ive outlined in black..that area is just flabby and if i press it, it just gives away till my finger feels the pec underneath..having said this, when i look at my upper body in the mirror from a distance, it seems that my whole pec region is covered with a thin layer of fat...dunno if that makes sense..

Ye, looks like glands. Pretty similar to my case. Got a very muscular chest, but the glands make my chest appear very womanlike.
