So I just had surgey yesterday (january 22) with Dr. Haugrud in Calgary. I have nothing but good things to say... I am however disappointed because I am in absolutely NO PAIN and I want to take my percocets and T3's! oh well I'll live. I will post pictures soon enough.

Anyways, I have the drainage tubes, anyone know the risk of infection, and if putting an antiseptic (polysporin) on or around is a good or bad thing to do?

I feel a lot better though! but any help about post op care would be appreciated.

  • surgery worth every penny
Gratz on the surgery.  I had absolutely no pain as well, and never touched a single pain killer post op.

It's going to suck for the first few days but it will get better.

And gratz again!

thanks man. I am worried sick about infection though, it is a little sore reaching for things, and I want to get this important first week right, to eliminate any problems down the road
