I had to put my dog of 15 years down today.
It was the worst feeling I have ever had to hold her and she after the final pump of the needle.
I would rather have gyne for the rest of my life and have her back.

I'm truly sorry for the loss of your faithful pet and companion.

Every once in a while we need to hear something that realigns our sense of perspective. It is sad that this time the lesson came at your expense.

I read somewhere that there are only two shortcuts to true brotherhood, Shared grief and Shared pain. The man who said that was reported to have died of cancer.

sometimes there are no perfect choices in life.  you're just forced to choose between sucks and sucks even worse.  don't blame yourself, you tried to, and probably did, the right thing, and you know your dog would never hold that against you.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
