Will surgery help keep my areaola/nipple in an erect state. I hate the way my nipples look once they are no longer hard/erect. Any way to keep the body releasing polypeptide neurotransmitter oxytocin.

From Wikipedia

The pigments of the nipple and areola are brown eumelanin (a brown pigment) and to a greater extent pheomelanin (a red pigment). The nipple and areola of males and females can be erotic receptors, or considered sex organs. Stimulation or sexual arousal can cause the nipples to become erect, due to the release of the polypeptide neurotransmitter oxytocin. Breastfeeding or exposure to cold temperatures often has this effect as well.

it all depends how puffy your areolas are. mine were soo puffy that the areolas puffed pass the nipple (couldnt tell i had a nipple)

so far mine are 70 percent less puffier will be happy if it gets to 85 - 90 percent where i can then say surgery was a sucess

ya mine look just like yours pre op ...

Sorry -- surgery will NOT keep your nipples in a constant erect state.

If you want, you could keep an ice cube handy and keep rubbing it on them whenever necessary (just kidding).

MSJ, how old are you?

im 19 and was nieve when i got surgery, i also thought surgery would instantly make my areolas look like they are erect. Thats not the case. What surgery did do is reduce the puffinesss. I think everyone's body is different and my areolas are just more puffier than others, its just they way my body is, and urs might be the same, its a shame to because its not like im fat (6'2 170 ibs./ 7 percent body fat)

but if i was you id go to a surgeon who knows his stuff like Dr. J

I would of if i wasnt half way across the country at the time and if i didnt rush into things due to my sport in college
