this maybe a strange question, but can gynecomastia cause a small penis? any info on this would be great cheerz

No, gynecomastia would not affect the size of your penis.  However, if your gynecomastia is related to a hormone imbalance (caused by a deficiency in your testes or pituitary gland), you could suffer from an underdeveloped genetalia, as well as the gynecomastia.  Basically, whatever's causing your gyne could also cause you to have a small penis.

Also worth adding that you can have a hormone imbalance and have a great big thingy or a normal size thingy.

It depends upon the nature of the problem and when it occurred.

In particular post pubertal imbalances will have no effect upon that department.

So guys even if you are lucky in the pants department- you still need endocrine pathology to check your hormone levels if you have gynecomastia.  

This is particularly important if you are going to have surgery.

What is the size of your penis when flaccid and when erect? Flaccid doesn't matter because one person can be like 1 inch flaccid and 6 inches erect.

You're either a shower or a grower.

A shower is somewhat long while flaccid, but does not grow much larger when fully erect.

A grower can be quite short when flaccid, but grows to several times it's flaccid size when fully erect.
