This has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever read on the internet.

Actually, I think the thread about the guy that wanted to perform the ENTIRE surgery by himself was the stupidest thing I've ever read on the internet, haha. This is a close second though.

LOL I remember that post. Great Laugh. Honestly though, as the others stated, maybe you lucked out, maybe you didn't, either way, only allow your surgeon to handle any sort of fluid drainage in the future. How long have you lived with gyne? And your only 19 days post op. Give it some time man. PATIENCE

Lol.....oh man, dont compare me to that nut. I think everyone is making a huge deal out of it....I did it EXACTLY the same way my doc did it, everything new, everything sterile, etc etc....so dont worry, instead help me with my question....is it normal to release fluids 3 weeks post op? Its a very tiny amount, maybe 2.5ml a day or something like that....

Yes i am wearing a compression vest from underworks, but at 3 weeks post op i thought swelling was supposed to be going down, not up...

some people hold more fluid than others. Are you drinking LOTS OF WATER and eating a low sodium diet?

Yes i am, but the thing is, its only happening in my right pec....if it was water retention it should be in both.....beside, when i drained the fluids it was red....like blood but not as thick, im guessing a combination of blood and serum.

He says its a "seroma" and it usually taked from 3 to 5 weeks to heal, although hes seen seroman to last up to three months, i hope its not my case....

I'm 2 months post op and I still need draining occasionally (BY MY SURGEON) in my right breast. Be patient for god sakes. If you poke too far, just a few cm, you could puncture your lung. There's a fun trip to the hospital.
