hey guys, gotta ? ----- i posted this on the main board 2 sorry if your're reading it again...

if i start taking whey protein powder, will that in any way increase my gyno size ?

my case is what i would consider minor (sticks out about an inch and a half from my chest.)

however last year it was smaller, and i started to take whey protein powder and do a ton of regular, and incline pushups to target the chest area..
it did start to stick out a bit more.  is that because of the direct targeting of the chest, or a combination ?

but i want to get my biceps, back, and shoulders bigger, so can i take the whey protein, and target the biceps, shoulders, and back.   without having to worry that it will someway make my chest get bigger ?

since i will not be working out the chest, i don't think it will..  but i need some input..  thanks ..

taking whey won't make your gyne worse or appear and if it does your probably the first ever. Whey is just an extract of milk... so at the worse you'll get  the shits if you're lactose intolerent

What you got when you worked out your chest was your "pump".  It's mostly just increase in blood flow, so your chest looked bigger.  Ever notice how your arms look bigger after a workout? Yup, it's the same thing.  Working your chest will make your chest bigger, so if you don't wanna do that, then don't I suppose.  Whey will not increase your gyno, it's just a protein source like chicken or tuna.

Whey won't effect your gyne...It's soy based protein powders that will, because soy contains trace amounts of estrogen. If you're looking for a protein powder that tastes like a milkshake (it's that good...I drink 3 a day...Just mix with milk)

Check out Optimum   Whey Protein Powder - Get The Chocolate flavor...delicious!

Cheers!

There is hope without surgery....I got REALLY LUCKY.
Stay strong everyone!

Don't use Nitrotech...athletes have tested positive for steroids after that protein supplement.

Don't buy whey protein it is a con, they are selling you something for £40 which you could get for £1.00 from the supermarket.
When i used to train,.....pre boob days. I used to take everything....i was a walking shake :) . Then this huge guy at the gym told me what he used an i was like.....nice idea.
He takes guernsey milk which is more protein per serving than whey and also 40 x cheaper :) .
check the stuff out, just swap your normal milk for gurnsey milk.....it's got a gold top.....drink a lire odd a day :

milk is a cheap source of protein but it has considerably more calories for the same amount of protein.  If you are trying to lose weight (as most people suffering from moobs are likely to be trying do) then using milk as your sole source of protein is pretty bad idea.  for example the mix I use comes to about 40g of protein for about 200-250 calories a shake.  To get the same amount of protein from milk alone I would be consuming 600-700 calories for the same amount of protein.  Thats a huge difference when you are trying to restrict yourself to 2500-3000 calories a day.  My own weight problems (and probably with fat breasts) as a teenager were caused mainly by my huge daily consumtion of milk.

The 2nd problem is that there is some evidence to suggest that drinking large amounts of milk can cause the body to produce more estrogen.  While this hasn't been proven conclusively by any means, it is still something that should be considered by people already suffering from true gyno.

Milk is great for people trying to gain bulk overall but for people with gyno and/or people trying to lose weight it should definitely not be used as the main source of protein.  Protein supplements, chicken breast, tuna, and lean steaks are a much better choice.

If he is training hard and targeting the chest he wants over 3000 calories or he will do more damge than good. . People mix milk with shakes ......so drop the powder and take the milk ;) .

Thats wierd.. I suggest an Iso-pro, yea expensive but the highest quality.. I also suggest a PWO (post workout shake) that includes dextrose! I and other Bb's use water as it delivers the protein cleanly and quickly
