I feel really bad for the women, and it really sucks that OHIP wouldn't cover for her surgery. It reminds me of this women who was one of the supervisors at my old job, she had the exact same condition I would assume as she had a beard and was quite obese. But she didn't seem too self-concerned and looked quite confident, I guess you have to if you manage to get a supervisor position.
