I wear a vanity fair 38 DD. Very comfortable.  I bra that I would rather wear than not. I don't leave the house without a bra on.

At 38DD  I also  would not go outside without wearing a bra so I know how you feel about it.

I'm a DD plus, however, I wear one sometimes, and there are times I don't. For some reason they bug me after a while, mostly on my right side so after a few days of wearing one, I need a few without. Sometimes what I do is wear different style bras to get a different fit, but that doesn't always help.

I think the problem is that the right boob is bigger then the left, making the DD bra to tight on the right, but good enough on the left.

I don't have any problems with going outside. My breasts are a part of me whether I'm supposed to have them or not. My most comfortable bras are from Soma and Vanity Fair. At the beach, I have found a good compromise wearing a tankini. I have a couple of plain black with built in underwire. They don't look very different from a regular tank top but I get all the support I need with sun and swim.

I know what you mean.  Do you wear nipple covers. How about stretch lace bras?

Yes I have to wear nipple covers otherwise they are very embarrassing  and obvious.

I will also use nipple covers when I wear my minimizer bras or a tankini at the beach. Getting out of the water and being able to cut glass. Very embarrassing.

I totally accept my condition after all these years, I am who I am and  cannot change the condition  which I am used to having. Any problems are with other people'perceptions. Even so  I avoid embarrassing  situations as far as possible not to offend other people.

My doctor told me once that it would be a good idea to go have a professional fitting! I think I may need to do that. My wife and I have done self fitting over the last ten plus years but I think it may be time to bit the bullet and give it a try, maybe.

I too totally accept this, but I can't find a bra that I can wear for mor the 8 hours or so.

Pleased to see you have decided to bite the bullet hammer. The first time is the worst time not knowing what to expect. It  is all very professional and you will be given your exact size, advice on your best options  and then asked if you would like to make a  suitable size, colour, amount of support and so on. What you also get is something that is very suitable and comfortable  suitable for wearing all day without any aches or pains. Good luck.
