Breast Tissue and Post op re-growth

I have recently read somewhere on the Net (cant remember source) that when the hormones are imbalanced the small amount of breast tissue all males have is stimulated and starts to grow.

My query was, if, after surgery, all breast tissue is removed would gyne grow back even if you still had a hormone imbalance as there is no more tissue to stimulate?

Or am I way of the mark with this?

yes it could grow back, there's been plenty of discussion about this on the board...read thru some posts...

Some men are more prone to have fatty deposits in the breast area than others.  Regrowth or regeneration of glandular tissue is likewise not beyond question.

Your best assurance would be to visit an Endocrinologist (one who specializes in reproductive issues) and have your hormones checked & evaluated.  I am of the belief that this should be a part of the pre-operative evaluation for everyone with gynecomastia.
