Hi I first noticed gynecomastia around the age of 13, im 17 now and im only a few months from my 18th birthday. My case isnt as severe as some peoples i have seen on here but I just want to live a normal life. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what the chances are of it going away before I decide that I want surgery. I guess I should point out that im still going through puberty, i barely have any facial hair at all right now. I just cant stand the feeling of living so secretly.. I can put some pictures up later.

ok well if you dont have very much facial hair, i would say that you're a late developer, and you have a little while left before you finish puberty. that means more time for your gynecomastia to resolve itself.

so theres still chance it might go away.

thats my opinion - not seeing a pic its hard to say.

One of the docs here said if you have G for more than 2 years, the chances of it going away naturally, are slim to none...

Sure dude, post some pics... include L&R profiles...

I've heard of people having it for 3 and more years and it going away.
