If I know that my gyno originated from screwed up hormone lvls, will I be prescribed test (if my current lvls are still not right) post operation to ensure that the gyno doesn't come back? Ofcourse this is probably dependant on several different things, but is this a common thing?

For most of us, Gynecomastia developed in early puberty When our hormone levels were erratic but did not become an issue until somewhat later. In fact enough later that by then our hormones had leveled out and everything is normal.

Hopefully you will find that your hormone levels are normal and their relationships with each other is also OK. If so there is very little to no chance of recurrence.

If there is a problem, It can be treated.  With the cause treated, there is very little to no chance of recurrence.

Either way, you win.
