yes and no.  the guy who advised him on the vp's has been around forever and advised gore too, and there are mccain advisors who did a lot of consulting for fannie mae too, so there are connections to go all around.  i think obama believed in the affordable housing idea but might have gotten blindsided by the power crowd he moves in.  alex jones iirc said the bilderberg crowd engineered the housing bubble to get rich off the repossessions by making them cheap then tightening the strings back, just like they did with the 70s/80s inflation/interest rates.  i also suspect john mccain is just as guilty on the wall street side of the coin with deregulating it and making the scams there possible.  raines' ties to lazard are interesting though because lazard is vernon jordan's shop and jordan is core bilderberg.  the undocumented workers have been cheapening the labor market, but it's probably a pipe dream to think mccain would do anything serious about that.  i'm still willing to give obama a chance, he's still run a more honest campaign that mccain, you can learn that just watching the debates.  ron paul would have been the best candidate of all because he wanted to undo the whole federal reserve scam, but some people think he possibly might not win this election
