Basically I work out, I take supplements and I eat like 5-7 times a day. I just noticed that some of the products I use contain soy such as the whole wheat bread (soy flour), the non fat cooking spray (soy) and my Protein Whey powder contains Soy. SO if I am consuming all of these am I increasing estrogen levels to the roof? I eat like 2 pieces of toast per meal, or sometimes even less. I drink about 1 or 2 protein shakes a day.....and I use the non fat spray thing once or twice a day.

i seriously doubt you need to worry.  being vegan i probably consume triple what the average person here has or better across tofu, fake sour cream, lots of soymilk, etc, and it's never had a noticeable effect in close to ten years.  there is even the possibility that if phytoestrogens compete with regular estro but with a fraction of the effect, it could have the reverse expect of what you'd expect.  on the other recent thread i pointed to my post on the subject here in which i explained why i think soy's not the culprit, and the things it's an alternative to i.m.h.o probably are - http://www.gynecomastia.org/smf/index.php?topic=13886.msg97561;topicseen#msg97561
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

I would suggest that you stay away from any kind of soy products. They have been show to cause alot of problems.
There are ALOT of better and same priced alternatives.
A good protein brand should not contain any soy, make sure to check the ingredients before using.
BTW are you using EAS protein?

okay i feel like talking about the actual physio involved is not really registering.  if all we get is somebody said something negative on the subject, we're at the mercy of the beef and dairy industry.

if you read that article/post i linked to, you'll see why i'll take soy over beef and dairy any day and wish to h*ll i'd been vegan a year before i got the d*mned gyne.   :'(

I take Optimum Nutrition which is top quality protein, about 85% of all body builders take this protein.... I checked lots of other proteins and they all contain SOY...almost 95% of them...the ones that dont, lack other nutrients and vitamins, that are essential to body building. I will just cut down on the soy consumption, but I dont think anyone can stay away from it completely, its almost in everything. Bread, butter, some dairy products, etc....its extremely hard to lift weights and consume food without soy... I guess if I consumed double or triple the amount that I do now then that would be bad.
