Surgery question...

Hello there, I'm two weeks pre-op... can't wait...  but still,... I have a question for anyone who's interested....  
Is there anyone out there that has had surgery for this that is in a field of work where 'mild to moderate' physical work is involved?  I ask this because my current job involves mostly observational work (which I hope to be limited to ... post - op);  however, very occasional physical work involving pushing a wheelbarrow of concrete or lifting a 25lb. mechanical gauge for field testing in construction.  It is not considered 'very vigorous' work, but I wonder if anyone else might have had to deal with these conditions a week or two post - op...

tell your employer that you pulled something over the weekend and that you cannot lift anything heavy until further notice. that should buy you a few weeks.
