I wish to thank this community for all the information both fact and fiction. Having my condishion for 35 years and only knowing of the down side I can now tell everyone PROUDLY that I am having my first examination in a few weeks with DR. Bermant. After researching a bit there were only a few doctors I was willing to see. Just talking openly about it was one of the largest battles I have ever overcome. I have this site to thank. Now the unbelievable part is that DR. Bermant is less then 5 miles from my house, I pass is office daily. Wow words cant explain how I feel.

Marc,  You are a lucky man to have one of the best in your backyard!  Best of luck and make sure to look at before and afters of other doctors as well, as each surgeon gets different results with patients!  Just for comparison sake.
