hi all Ive been reading this site for a few months but only recently became a member, over the last few months it finally dawned on me that i have gyno (i figured it was just fat from teen years etc) seeing as i just turned 21 and thought it would go by now i didn't really think to much about it but as i said the last few months its been getting to me more and more and Ive finally decided to choose the surgery option I'm already 3/4 of the way to paying for the operation (assuming it's still £4000? can anyone tell me?) but i am unsure on which route to take next i have read alot about Doctor Karidis and so far he looks like my best option and choice to trust in this situation can anyone else give me their own opinions on Karidis and others to help me which my choices

thanks all in advance (apologies if my typing doesn't make to much sense this is the first time Ive spoken about it openly (whether its on the net or not so I'm alittle nervous as to what to write)

thanks again

Well I go in for my op on Tuesday with Karidis so i'll find out soon enough if he was the right choice! It's costing me £4118 guessing it will still be the same, £75 consultation fee aswell.

If like me and everyone else on this board your life has been negatively affected by something that cant just be sorted by getting in shape then its definitely worth going in for the surgery. The sooner the better too as getting it done now means you can actually enjoy this summer, and every other one :)

Karidis is one of the best in the business.  He's got a very low recorded of revisions and has a lot of positive feedback on here.
When you see him, make sure you write lists of questions you want to ask, since it's easy to forget once you get in there.

His costs are as above, the first consultation is £75 but cheque is made out to the local hospice.

The costs can be put against a credit card if that helps you speed things up. Also depends where you stay in relation to add on's i.e. travel / hotel etc.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress

His web site is www.nipntuck.co.uk which has all the info that you need

Took the plunge and had consultation with Dr. Karidis 7th January 2009.
Surgery 26th February 2009.
Just wish I'd been able to do this years ago.

Hey chris87

I'm two weeks post op with Karidis and couldn't be happier with my results. I guess you read my post "another karidis notch" so you'll know my story. The search function is pretty useful - Karidis and Paul Levick are the usual topics and both have good reputations.

Having a consultation with either/both to confirm your condition and answer all your questions is really helpful and will probably seal the deal  ;D

Good luck
Dr K got rid of my gyne Jan 2009. Thank f@ck for that!

Dr. Karidis consults Wed and Friday and operates Tues / thurs / Sat, when I called it was either an appointment the following week or the next was a month away.
