Are the costs of the operation procedure the same whatever type of anaesthesia is chosen?

"Gynecomastia correction can be performed successfully either with a local anaesthetic alone, local anaesthesia with mild sedation (twilight anaesthesia) or with a General anaesthetic(completely asleep). If you decide to have it done with a local anaesthetic, you will probably feel some vibration and friction during the procedure. You may also occasionally feel a stinging sensation as the cannulae moves closer to the muscle. Obviously if you are put to sleep then you will not be aware of anything."
Before you criticise a man walk a mile in his shoes, after that who cares? your a mile away and have his shoes.

I think he prefers to do it under GA, told me that is what he recommends.

As it would obviously reduce the price, then give them a call and ask, they advised me on the cost over the phone when I first called.
Took the plunge and had consultation with Dr. Karidis 7th January 2009.
Surgery 26th February 2009.
Just wish I'd been able to do this years ago.

You're still going to take up a room in the hospital for most of the day, so I can't see it making much difference to the cost anyway....

Personally I'd take the GA and enjoy it  ;D
Dr K got rid of my gyne Jan 2009. Thank f@ck for that!
