*Surgery was with Dr Girvan in London, Ontario

Yes, today was finally my surgery date, and I am very glad that it is finally done, and I look forward to seeing what the results are, because I am all wrapped up right now.

So I got to the hospital at like 6:30 and waited in various waiting rooms as I was processed "No I haven't had anything to eat or drink since last night" - I said that a lot.

Went to this one kick ass waiting room where they had a Nintendo Wii and an N64 because I'm under 18 lmaoo.

So finally I went into the operation room, only wearing boxers now under some sheets and they get me all ready, put on these elcetric sticky pads with wires and shit, put this clippy thing on my finger which, interesting enough, can't measure the amount of oxygen in your blood, and luckily for me, the gave me laughing gas so that I wouldn't feel the IV that would administer my anaesthetics, LOL I actually felt pampered in a hospital..  So I fall asleep from the sleeping meds, after the 60 second laughing gas high lmfao.

I wake up in a diff. room, all bandaged up, get to have some gingerale :D and like 45 minutes later, after I get the low down from my mom who talked to my doctor, I'm out, and home by 1:30 pm, and relax at home, finally eating something at 4:30.  I'm tightly wrapped in a bandage, slightly sore, my arm movement is pretty restricted.  Unfortunately, the wraps are over my armpit hair so its gonna hurt having it removed :/ but oh well, I got a new chest for free.  Thank-you, OHIP.

I WILL post pics in like a week or so, depending on when I feel better.

Thanks to gynecomastia.org for helping me get through this :)

2nd day, I am more sore, and last night some blood leaked out from my bandages onto my shirt and bed covers, which was kinda messed, but the drains are obviously doing their job.  I am at home, relaxing, getting my fluids and watching movies, not trying to move round too much.  Tommorow morning at 9 am I get the drains out, so I can get a better look at my chest too.

Congrats on your surgery!  Thank you for posting a log.
I am interested in your experience as i have yet to choose a doctor.  Can you give some details as to how much the procedure costs?  What is his technique?  (ie. armpit incision, lipo, nipple.)
